Strut top bearings

It seems that I have a sticky strut top bearing. I'm going to be getting some coilovers soon, but was told that coilovers include a strut top bearing on them - is this true?? Would save me having to buy new ones!

Which coilovers are you going for?

they dont generally come with strut top bearings i dont think ive never known it on the coilies ive bought for my other cars.

id definately change them tho. mine have just gone which means i need coilies off again. good excuse to clean them tho.

Think I'm going for Weitec Hicon GT's. So are the bearings cleanable or would it be best to replace them?

they are cleanable but that doesnt get rid of the play. id just replace them cant see them been too much and saves taking it apart in a couple of months again really doesnt it.

My weitecs hicon gt's didn't come with top mounts and bearing, but for just over £40 delivered from sere motors I wasn't fussed lol
