If the chance came up now.....i'd take that valver and happily spend 1/2k getting the problems sorted.

Hell, i'd even sell my 8v to raise funds......never thought i'd say that.

we were going to fix the ibiza , by using another vw golf 1.8 16v block , but do not think we will have time.
if anyone is interested in car as a project please let us know.
the spec. as far as we know is as follows:
supercharged engine
7 x 16 compmotive mo's / tyres
coilovers all round.
strut braces
induction kit.
i am sure you all know more about the spec. than we do.
we might use the coilovers and wheels on a cordoba , but not sure yet.

open to sensible offers
thanks:)

Scary thing is someone will buy it.

£800 car (if it was in good nick) with a fuct engine, modified poorly.

Good luck with that... I hope you paid like £250 for it.

Well i will have a chat with the guy and have a chat with Chris and go from there.

My vento project is on hold untill i get back from my honeymoon which i go on in 2 weeks (as when ever i go to buy a vento the onwer is involved in a car crash ...twice now !! 2 different ventos)... so when i do get a vento all the money i save on gas and insurance will need somewhere to go....also i would sell my white 8v (dont worry i wont do a ''whats it worth post'') as i wouldnt need it and i think it would sell in a flash....My misses would happily drive a charged valver around.....but anyway, ill see how we get on.

ok then, so everyone reads the 'you know...' sticky, reads about the wonderful idea of supercharging, the following disasters, the re-sale & people still want to buy it?

l sold it to the guy who has it now. he is just up the road from me.it had a few problems when i had it. got most of them sorted but still had a few when bottom end went. it starts and drives but its knocking it tits off. annoying thing is we think its a blocked oil way that caused it. tbh honest it needs a decent bottom end with forged pistons etc which what i was gonna do but at time had lack of funds. i know what i bought it off chris for as do u guys and i know what its worth now how it sits. and its not worth breaking in my eyes.

It's worth buttons... engine rebuild costs alone make it un-viable.

As suggested, with a knackered engine in a 13yr old shell with lots of tidying to be done, with too many home brew parts & too many unknowns you really 'want' to have a money pit.

£300 on a good day....

open to sensible offers, with or without coilovers and wheels.we originally bought the car to break but seeing the amount of time and work that has gone into the car , it would be a shame to break it. does mork have a good word to say about any car .our number is 01202 523835.give us a call during the day - thanks
