Syphoning petrol

My car has been written off thanks to a young lady in a Ford KA, and its got a full tank of petrol in it!

I tried to syphon it off but there appears to be something in the neck to stop you syphoning petrol many ideas how to get round this?

could you not unplug the pressure reg. join a hose onto the feed line and into a container of your choice , flick the ignition on and let the fuel pump do the work for you ???

yer they have got an anti syphon vavle fitted take the back seat out and the pump/sender and syphon it out direct from the tank.
