Not that mechanically minded so be kind.
Just wondering how much work will b needed if one of these was purchased as in what else would i have to upgrade in the engine plus would there be much gain from of of those turbos?

Turbocharger Kit

Very cheap for a complete turbo-kit.. my initial reaction. Hold-tight for more technical analysis :D

isn't the garrett T3/T4 turbo a bit old hat? i spoke to a bloke from universal turbo's at trax last year and he said those blowers were old technology and that roller bearing turbo's were the way forward. but saying that a T4 would be good :D

T3super60 are what loads of people are strapping to their motors on Vortex now, pulling good figures, 270-300whp with little problems as well. Been lookin at this option myself.

xs power are **** , do not touch them , i had one and was advised not to fit it as it will crack and only cost you more money in the long run , taking it back of etc , they are also oil cooled and not water cooled

XS power is rubbish. A client here needed more power for his Nissan 350Z. someone tried to sell it to me... basically the manifolds are rubbish, and they're not really "kits", just a few parts, you will have to sort out the rest - No intercooler piping, no turbo intake hose

what about the ECU map?

steer well away even if its not a cheap chinese copy.

EIP Tuning make proper T3/T4 kits. see http://www.eiptuning.com/eip/1.8t_stage_3.html
