Where ever the wife tells me
I have developed a clacking noise when I go over a bump with the O/S front wheel
It just makes a single 'CLACK' more so on small bumps or rough road surface rather than big bumps
Not had a chance to have look myself
Not sure if it is the suspension, sounds too light if you know what I mean
more like loose plastic or similar
Any ideas???

Hi, is it intermittent? I've got a similar problem with my passenger wheel the noise goes away once warmed up after about 10 miles. Been in for repair 3 times over 12 months and noise never happens with the dealer even when left overnight! Sounds to me if there's something loose within the strut whilst going over rough/uneven ground especially if load is removed ie turning left. Don't know if it's the top mount or bearing or something else.

Dealer says they cannot strip the strut until they hear it? The car drives fine, it's just annoying[:@] The car has had a stering rack replaced but this noise is different more of a knock rather than a grind:confused: It only happens on badly repaired bumpy roads and on cold mornings it is really loud.

Don't know what'll do but have 11 months warrenty left to get it fixed.

No, noise is there all the time :(

Sorted!!!!! Took a look tonight
I opened the bonnet and started bumping and banging things on the O/S
When I banged the top edge of the O/S wing there was a definite clack/clunk
Turns out to be the front wing mount to the Headlamp panel. It is quite a long bracket and was tapping against the headlamp panel!!!!
Took out the bolt and put some Dum Dum putty between the two surfaces, replaced the bolt and hey noise gone!!!!! Did the same on the N/S just to make sure it doesn't start on that side
One other think I noticed was the bonnet cable also makes a fair amount of noise rattling where it goes inside the O/S wing band, so cable tied that up too
Wonder how long it would have taken the dealer so sus that one

I have that going clack potholes, but rather relacionadocon the oscillation of the body to the shock.
Can you explain a little but he has done?
I use google translator does not understand very well. In a beacon giving light?

What language do you speak?
Might be easier to ask if anyone on here could translate for you

I am Spanish.
The noise is left in front of Part and depends more on the oscillation of the shock to the body because there is more small bumps in the grandes.Creo which is the same as you.
Incidentally I have followed your directions to eliminate the noise from the rear wheels, you've finally solved?.
