Handle was simle enough to take apart, just have to be gentle. Its a spare I have so thought i'd give it a go. Not sure if it will actually go back together and work yet but we shall see.

You having black one side white the other or a black and a white one on each side so that which ever way you look at it the black and white brakes are the same way round?

Techie mate, just had a thought. Remember you removed your aerial for the spraying of your roof and I suggested the shark fin aerial. I saw the scirocco r yesterday which has this shark fin aerial. Would you not be able to use those same parts to make the modification and have the radio working properly? I know you said you needed some specific part and thought perhaps the scirocco system would have that. Might be worth investigating or not?

I went down to my VW garage and enquired about this cos i would rather have a genuine part than some ripspeed shite from halfords. Basically they are for the sat nav in higher spec cars. the technitian said they would be able to fit them but they are something stupid in the region of £150+ and may need additional wiring. think im just going for a C2 stubby. nothing chavvy just smaller .
