Damn dude!!! She is looking really really good now. I need to start saving hahahahahahahaha. Where are awesome GTi based btw? How is this going to affect warranty now?

The bushes and drop links are no longer covered. Since the eibach's have their own warranty i'm not to fussed as bush's etc aren't a huge fix. Awesome are based in Manchester

makes a hell of a difference transforms the car
I just went for a quick blast on the local lanes i'm used to. To say its an improvement is an understatement. Where i'd have to back off the throttle you can now power in more as the nose chews down. So impressed.

The ride really is more comfortable as well. There seems to be no draw backs as the is still a nice amount of clearance. Not sure what she'll be like 5's up though :)

Damn!!! Manchester is a faaaaaaaaaar way from London hahahahahahahaha. Could be a nice drive though hehehehehehe

Looks really nice m8

May have to get me one of thoes ARB, my friends got one front and rear on his mk4 and it makes so much of a diffrence. Infact il think il email them now :D

Oh were abouts were you?

They really are great can't stress enough how much better the car handles/looks!

Ah yes that would be me :) NOt supposed to wash it until Friday due to the new windscreen. I'm guessing they ment with a pressure washer. It kills me when its not perfectly white :)

Hey Mardon,

Could you please tell me why you chose Eibach instead of kw ?
More comfortable on the road ?

Also why did you chose Whiteline ARB instead of Eibach where they have a kit especially for the Ibiza 6J ?

Thank you

I did a lot of reading about the various kits. I use my car a lot as my daily commute is 100 miles I need a comfy ride. The eibach actually use KW dampeners (of the same build quality as variant 1’s I am told) set to eibach’s dampening specification then coupled with eibach’s obvious high quality and knowledge in springs. They are a softer ride than their KW Varient 1 equivalent.

On the road the ride if a definite improvement over the standard crashy cupra suspension and is certainly more comfortable. I really can’t express too you how well the car handles now, it even betters my 106 GTi as it has more grip (and obviously more pace). On a fast tight corner it just squats in and grips on, the Rear Arb keeping the rear in check and can be brought round if required with a little lift off oversteer. The great thing about the oversteer is its easily controllable and seems to work well in combination with the XDS keeping the front wheel grip in check.

The whiteline ARB is a proven bit of kit with many of the fabia and mk4 boys running them and the great results are widely expressed across the forums.

The mk5 rear axel is similar or the same as the mk4 so its the same bit of kit. As I got mine for £100+VAT fitted as a deal from Awesome as they were also fitting the coilovers I thought it’d be rude not too :D

Get it done mate its turned a quick car into a WEAPON! One a twisty bit of road this will keep with most cars, I can’t wait for some track action!

Yeah 3 settings mines on medium but apparently it doesn't make a huge difference between each setting. Too much oversteer could mean car vs tree... :D
