now what you should do is paint the old bonnet in chalkboard paint and take it to shows to have a laugh with it.
REALLY HAPPY WITH IT!! alloys are next and then either cupra rear or coilovers - not sure & just happy with the result

went out tonight with a few of my mates & my girlfriend and they all love the new front end....they all said the same -'looks like a brand new car' - chuffed...cant wait for the alloys now
& the possibly the cupra rear end & vinyl roof
Looks beautiful with the new bumper, really gives the car an insane boost in its looks.
I'll have to invest in a FL bumper sometime myself!

Erm well the bonnet was £55, bumper was £95, grilles were £117 & painting was £350 (also new slam panel was needed which was £85 along with a new headlight which cost £65) - all in all not cheap!Worth every penny though i think...
At least you did it properly! I picked up cheap front bumper for £60 in red but it's slightly darker than rest of car and has some scuffs

Lol me too. I have spent between £2500 and £2750 on mine lol
Ouch! You could have bought a FR/Cupra with that much on top of the trade in value of your car
Lol not a cupra as my 06 plate cost me £3000 lol so £5500 is just shy of a cupra lol. But the insurance won't allow it lmao.
