Think my factory stereo needs a code?

this seems to work on some, others not.

Mine took best part of two days...

That's weird seeing as they are all built the same way

i have the code....its just the process of waiting an hour, which i have done. then you hit PTY apparantly till CODE or SAFE start flashing....the problem i have is the PTY button dont make the flashing symbol

I just pressed PTY and the code is stored, no holding it for beeps or anything, then the radio came on.

dunno if my PTY button even works...havent had my stereo on now for about 10 days

i'm sure it will be fine mate.

I've had to listen to the radio for seems like forever as the "standard cd player" one i was sold "broke in transit" so i have bought another to replace it.
Can't wait to get my mp3's back in as i have "acquired" more in the mean time.
