throttle body

have just replaced the throttle body on my car do i need to take it to someone with vagcom to set it up correctly or willl it do it automatically thanks in advance for techie help

I imagine you have to to a TBA (throttle body alignment) which you can do through Vag-Com or by leaving the ignition on for 5 minutes. Do a search to confirm

Switch ingnition on for 3 mins, knock it of for about 20 secs, then done matey.

disconnect battery for 10 mins

reconnect, turn key 2 clicks with bonnet and drivers door open

listen in the engine bay, throttle body will be making noises for about 30 seconds

turn off ignition,

then start car
