THS intercooler Logs!!

last night i went to the herts and kent meet (great meet by the way) and thanks to james and craig i managed to get some logs done the out side temps were 11 degrees when the logs were done.

does any one know what a SMIC on a remapped cupra produces so i can compare?

sorry but those values are fairly useless since they dont show past 4640rpm which is about when temps really start to increase and boost drops off

no, i have p-torque and i love it so the intercooler is doing its job?

Does the car drive better with it?

reserve judgement till the summer really. every summer there is a mass of IAT logging so you'll be able to compare yours with the results of other cores.

but as it stands its fine, after some constant welly i used to see 50s, and late 20s while cruising

ok that sounds good thanks alot! and yeah it does seem to feel better but i didnt want to say anything as is not proper 'proof' also i compared my inlet manifold and charge pipe to another cupra with out a FMIC and mine were considerably cooler

another good one would be 115 - since it'll show us requested vs delivered boost (and how much boost you're losing through the core)

cool, well i think when you get a stage 2 remap, the boost gets turned up 2 compensate and as the intake temps are lower the engine can handle it? ...thats what i thought any way but im not sure!

I have absolutly no idea what all that means lol

I have the standard SMIC and been remapped, if no one has done it by then, I will get my car vagcom'd on the RR day to compare the differences
