Thule Roof Bars Best Buy for mk4 Ibiza

Just found Thule complete system including Areo bars and locks on www . skidrive . co . uk
for only £129.99 ( can't post exact link cos i'm new to forum )

If anyone can find this cheaper please post here. Looking to buy within the next weeks.
After much research I found that these are best and to specifically avoid main dealer SEAT roof kit because it has caused damage to the roof.

Just best price comparison posts and opinions on best racks here please!

What are you hoping to carry on the roof, If your thinking of bikes then there are quite a few of us that have towbars fitted, much easier option then sticking them on your roof.

I actually thought the SEAT ones were made by Thule

Hey guys. Its surfboards I'll be fitting. Specifically long boards so no other options on how they would fit. Surprised at the lack of response. Thule must be cheapest on skidrive

To answer the other question, the ones from main dealer were removed due to roof damage. They were made under seat by Volkswagen! Thule are a specialist company and have been making roof bars for every vehicle for years. According to survey they are the best. If seats own brand were not damaging it would be worth sticking seat on seat for the same reasons as having your warranty at main dealer and sticking to seat alloys etc. In this circumstance it seams Thule are the best option for the mk4 Ibiza at the moment.

I set up this thread specifically to target the cheapest option for buying these bars. Hoping that someone else would of done even more research than myself and could add to this...

As said above, quite a few are running towbar and cycle rack. A bit like this:

Really stable and you always know that the bikes are there.
