Hi,

Is there any advantage of getting an after market TIP? Does it increase power etc?

i think they just increase air flow. i spose they help with further mods ect, any way they look nice

They eliminate two faults of original design: accordion-like shape of the original TIP and squashed/narrowed shape of the LC turbo intake tube made of aluminium. Due to increased diameter, smooth inside, less or no collapse under boost, they allow the turbo to suck better. (For many people, K03S and K04 turbos suck anyway )
