if i were you just hybrid your current k04 turbo. speak to backdraft motorsport for this.

Won't a k04 hybrid kill my rods definitely ?:confused:

Because of the strut, it seems as nobody else is interested, start ordering one piece ? :D
 
Hi mates

if i go on reading the board, i start thinking, that the k03 hybrid would have been the better alternative for me , than using the k04:(

I got some questions, maybe somebody can answer them :)

Do i need a normal k03 or a k03s for building an upgrade hybride out of this ? Is there a difference between k03 hybrid and k03s hybrid ?

I believe there is not much difference when you hybrid them both, if any at all as the main difference between the standard turbos is that the K03s has 8 blades and lighter internals than the K03 12 blades. When they are made hybrid these are stripped out for new ones.

I will be corrected if I'm wrong.

Oh and how do you fancy swapping your passenger side wing mirror for my drivers side wing mirror...!?? ;)

The strut will be about 95€ + shipping. Today my secondary air system was disabled by my programmer , no more errors !!yeah!!

Tomorrow i'll remove the **** n249 and the cables and the battery will be mounted in the exchange wheel basin. More space for my air filter and the new pipes of the intercooler.

Sorry I meant you put a lot of effort and care into your car! If we swapped mirrors we would have even sizes both sides!
 
yes, youre right. In Germany the ibiza is really rare, thats a pity :(. Mirror change, hm i'd prefer the bigger ones, i hate these small nupsys. Let's change :D

Hey tobi my management light has been on due to the secondary air system & i would love to know where about in the ecu u woudl go to disable this error? I u could find out from ur programmer this would be great....
 
So, update:

Today i made some logs, the maximum airflow in g/sec was 187. Do you think that is okay for an K04 ? My programmer is still on holidays :/

So, today i called my programmer, ill go on for a new software. Before i have to change:
* FMIC into 60mm , that means no more Forge
*76mm Downpipe. In Germany nearly unpayable, i found this on ebay.co.uk KLICK
Anybody some experience with this downpipe ? Can you give me an advice, which downpipe would suit ?

So mates, a lot of things done :)

First of all, i detached my intake brdige, because i want to renew all the gaskets and replace the oem hoses by siliconhoses. Then ill take my Forge007 directly to the throttle.

Here the bridge after i grinded it about two hours :) :

Than i wanted to make the base of the bridge black, because you cant really see it, because of the fuel hoses und fuelvalves above it:

After i painted it several times, it was very shiny

okay, the separation between polished and painted could be a little bit better, but you cant see this later, so , doessn't matter :)

Then i did the same game with mit throttle:

So, the colour was still not empty i started grinding the valve cap:

I'm really proud on this one, cause all my mates said : don't do this, won't work... this won't be clean enough for painting blaaa blaaa :p handmade original is still the best

For my new pipes in 60mm and the new FMIC i had to create some space on the left front. There has been the horn and the thief signal. I took them to another position, here you can see:

I really like this one and i'm very sure, i wont miss my "diameter swithcing from small to too small, edge insted of curve and so on" Forge FMIC :)
