The project still goes on :). I finished the bracket of my FMIC. At the moment its only hold by two rods, i will put two shorings from behind the FMIC to the bearing.

The FMIC and the bearing:

looks really good tobi same plans i have for my intercooler piping.
whats the size on your intercooler?mine i 550mmx140mmx65mm

So,

the pipes are back from the exhaust builde. He made a great job by the way. Now, the FMIC is mounted 80%, the fence in the front is also done. The next days, im going to clean the engine, repolish the pipes an the intake manifold and im make a plate abvoe the axhaust manifold, to prevent the huge amount of heat.

here the pictures :)

I think ill update today or tomorrow with new pictures.

Hey mates,

did some changes again :)

My engineroom is nearly finished. I'll have to put the battery in the boot, and create a new heat adsorbtion plate. But so far im really happy with the changes:

Hey mates,

winter is comming and the concepts for my baby are beeing made. In the spring, it will be remapped. So far, i have to do a few things.

1. The brakes, a friend of mine was designing and producing brake calipper holders, for the 305/28mm discs in cobination with the Boxster 986 front calippers. A very fine project, is the 280mm disc for the rear. My car will be the project car, for a special 280/10mm disc, that will be mounted at the rear.

Left side is the prototype holder, right side the oem Seat one. As you can see, a few things have been improved, besides the fact, that we use a material, that is more stable.
3940453574_6905ae4088_o.jpg

The comparison between 239 and 280mm (really heavy :) )

2. The Engine. Im actually not really satisfied with my K04 Ibi. I suppose, the mapping is really bad and the engine doesn't get enough fuel by the injecotrs or the pump. So i bought 380ccm injectors and a 3 bar fpr and a walbro 225l /h pump.
Next Problem, our tuner's in Germany say, that you cant drive more than 350NM (260 ft-lbs) with standard con rods. I accepted that, because of, i won't be satisfied with 350NM if the care is able to produce more than 400NM.

So i have to change my con rods. Im pretty sure, that i'll take some integrated engineering, but i don't know, what i should do with my pistons. Has anybody ever trimmed his pistons to reduce the compaction ? Or would you prefer a thicker cylinder heat gasket to reduce it ? I Know a tuner that supplies gaskets to reduce the compaction to 8,9:1.

So,as you can see, i still have a few plans, but i would be happy to hear some sentiments from you to my ideas.

Regards, Tobi

First of all, i made a new presentation Video of my Ibiza and another one, i pushed against an RS4 B7 V8 but i had to stop, because the corner was very hard and the street very bad, i didn't want to risk anything, i already had enough pleasure :)

My calipper holders also arrived:
