I have the same problem. Did you have any problems with the dealer/warranty claim? i have been told that if the wheels have even slight kerb damage then they will not be refurbished/replaced under warranty?
I have same problem with very extensive corrosion even in areas in between "spokes" which are not accessible to kerb scurfing.Appeared very early well within first year.Now looks so bad I am about to take matter up with dealer which I should have done earlier.Car 2 years old.
Keen to hear of other experiences of this problem .
