Tom,

How do you rate the K sport brakes? And how often do you have to clean them, with them not having seals?

I can't decide wether to get 2 piece discs for the brembos or go for the full 330mm k sport kit.

I don't mind a bit of maintenance but I don;t want to have to take them off every few hundred miles

WOW I love this thread!
Ive just had a engine mount go, the same as you just replaced, the thread the comes up through that the nut goes on has snapped! The mount is about 2mm from completely coming off!
New one is getting fitted tomorrow.
Where did you get your Aero bumper from, I would do anything for one of those newer ones!!

Got the bumper off ebay mate.

I was in same position... Went with the K Sports. No regrets.

This is awsome mate.....I've only read half the thread, but I'm allready hooked. Is making me rethink the Leon cupra tdi idea and going for the pd130 version instead

Quick update on my Jetta daily drive.

Got bored of the grandad style pretty quick, so rims were in order.

Also ordered some coilovers which should be coming tomorrow. If they do, they will be on the car wednesday. Quick photoshop of what its gonna look like:

Wheels are on the car already. Just waiting for my coilovers to turn up now.

Rotiforms are replicas of lambo wheels anyway, so either way, I'd have been buying a replica ;)

good project, because they put bigger valves? along with the spring kit, and a good camshaft of 280 degrees?
also you would need a good intake manifold.

First of all I want to tell that I appreciate this thread, but I want to see the videos that you were uploaded to Photobucket and I see the password nowhere...

Anyone could help me please? Thanks

PS: I ordered the same wheels than you ( 17" Team Dynamics Pro Race 3 in gloss black). I also have a silver ibiza mkiv

Cheers man. Always nice to know people appreciate it.

On the bumper front, I just searched "ibiza bumper" and trawled through it all. Took me literally 2 years of searching weekly to find a bargain though! Just got to be patient.

Picked the car up from Darkside Developments on friday night.

All I can say is WOW! The car was quick before, and now its ridiculous!

No actual power figures as of yet, but should have some soon. Estimated to be 280+bhp and god knows how much torque.

Anyway, been out this afternoon to get a few pictures for their site.

And went to a nearby airfield to get an acceleration video.
