Too Fussy?

Am I too fussy... I have the Ibiza 130 FR 8500 miles on it but it has more knocking and rattling noises than I can shake a stick at. This weekend I had a drive around on normal roads with radio off and it's unreal the noises it makes, knocking from rear suspension, windy doors, creaking seat oh and the famous misfire etc etc. Do I need to stop being mard and just drive the damn thing or get to the stealers with a list of faults?

Knocking from the rear suspension? take it back and have them fix it!
Cars aren't cheap and when you enjoy driving them, then there is no reason you should have to put up with faults that shouldn't be there.

Just think, do you really want to put up with it for the next few years, or however long you intend to keep the car?

That put's my mind at rest I'll get her booked in I just hope they sort it instead of giving me some bull excuses, I had a clio for 1 week and sold it because of similar problems I really don't want to sell my seat

They have no excuse for giving you any bull mate, there is a problem, they fix it. If they won't do it then ask them to arrange for another dealer to honour your warranty and get them to send it over to them.

Dealers get away with murder if you let them, if you stand your ground you generally always get what you want. Especially when it comes to warranty work.

Thanks for the advice I'll be getting a list together to show them when I turn up, the worst thing about it is most of the problems are minor common problems why can't they just find a solution I mean mending a windy door..... HOW HARD CAN IT BE!!!

Mine has been in 6 times for rattles and knocks, i only got it november.

Mine have been,

Nose from Gear gator
Rattle from behind the Dash
Rattle From the Glove box lid not shutting correctly
Rattle from the rear view mirror
Rattle from the Headlineing
Rattle from the Front suspension
Rattle From the drivers Door
Rattle From the Boot X6

And Major Damage to the spare alloy from the boot floor.

This car has had more faults then any i have ever brought, Sort of puts me off it.

Take it back to them and get them to fix them, best do it while you still can.

Gutted! black steel spare wheel GOD DAMN IT! I can relate to some of the rattles on your list I'd better get my pen and paper out - a long list for seat me thinks.

Thing is you could say this about any car, not only ibiza that do it. I got a few rattles also.

My cubby box bit on the drivers side rattles
Passanger door rattles when you have the volume louder than 15
Bit of plastic that cover a guess a screw where the air vent is on the window screen is has popped up.

Also get a funny noise when you put your foot down come from near the gear stick area not sure what that is? Anyone?

Will book it in but it just getting time.

Yours isn't a Cupra. They need an alloy spare to fit over the front callipers.
