Tool kit

What tools and 'emergency supplies' e.g. spare bulb kit, jack etc do readers of this forum carry in your boot and where do you store them to stop them rattling about?

And does anyone know what the two velcro straps either side of the boot area are for please?

Looks like a warning triangle will fit in there (mine from Halfords doesn't though) but there are two straps and recesses, one either side. Surely not for TWO warning triangles are they? Or for left and right handed people..?

emergency supplies.... err I keep nothing

Well apart from a jack for punctures and I do have a first aid kit in the recess :)

Does chocolate, jelly babies and red bull qualify for emergency supplies :D

PS: if the mrs was replying to this she would say hand lotion, skin cleansor, lip stick, blusher, foundation etc (im not sexist honest)

the two velcro straps in the boot fit a standard emergency triangle which I believe has to be supplied by law in other EU countries, I got one from Aldi for a few quid.
I carry lots of odds and ends that have come in usefull in the past such as umbrella (constantly in use) Camera, for when DHs drive into you. plus all the other bits you gather such as mobile phone chargers, batteries, tools etc.
SO i got the additional boot tray, the one that goes under the parcel shelf. Its not as advertised by Seat but it does the job.
