Basically where the track rod connects up to the steering rack. Mine has a little play one side, going to get it replaced, just wondered if anyone has had theirs done and how many hours labour garages have taken to do it?

Can tell a cars reaching that 6/7years old when trackrod ends etc start wearing lol

Thanks, gives me an idea what to expect. I'd have a go myself but know my limits with the spanners lol

I've that one side, and the trackrod end the other...still, they've lasted 57k so a little wear and tear is to be expected.

I had my o/s and n/s tie rod replaced not long ago - Think it was about an hour half for both so a garage shouldn't charge you more than an hour's labour rate. :D
