Yo guys, would love to hear from cupra owners and your opinions on the true mpg that the cupra is giving out!!!im collecting mine in less than 2 weeks and its the only question that i havnt got a clear answer to!!!cheers

So far I have done 10000km, fuel consumption: 9,5l/100km. This means 24,7 MPG(US) or 29,7MPG(Imp). Don't know which one you are using.

Those figures look pretty bad, ive just ordered an FR and am hoping for 30mpg I hope im not being too optimistic!

Just hit the 3000 miles mark today and averaged 29MPG.. Most of my journeys are just over 30mpg, so it must have been really bad the first 500 miles or so.... Did a 200 mile trip home from Oulton park, and opnly really got good mpg due to traffic, otherwise, I'd have been about 25mpg.

Verry true, I drove back from kent yesterday and averaged 26mpg, steady 80/90mph, with no heavy acceleration, normal mpg 24/25, so the same as my stilo, but a MUCH better car.....

I'd say you'd get 30mpg if you stuck at 70.

You're probably right, but as I was being passed by Mercs, Porches, and Beemers doing approx 120/30mph in thick spray (crazy IMHO), I found that the most sensible approach was to stay in the fast lane for as long as possible, as the spray and standing water were less extreme there, doing 70 I'd have had virtually zero visibility, not good.....

I got 32mpg on the first tank full!! looks more like 29ish mpg on the sencond tho. Same as my old Cupra really

Overall, after about 2,000 miles, no more than 29.
Depends on how much welly you give it though
