TT short shifter onto leon cupra?

Can anyone tell me if the short shifter on this thread, first page, will fit the leon cupra, 2001?

Any one got a part number for it i was looking at the Forge short shifter but can justify spending around £60 with christmas being around the corner and does the TT one work just as well cheers.

It says reduces throw by 20% on a mk3 ibiza [I presume as its in the ibiza mk3 section] but would it actually make a difference on a leon?

If so 20% is not that much? most short shift kits are 40%?

Willie there is one problem with that i'm a Sparky not a Mechanic do you know who done this so i can have a look and they may give me some help, like i said earlier i don't really want to throw £60 odd at a Forge shifter Cheers
