Nope cause it not made yet

We are doing this soley out of demand from peeps on here as the yanks have done it and quote gains.

If you wanna spend the time doing the testing then be my guest, but in short it removes a restriction which can only be a good thing

do you have the posts the yanks said about it?

I did a rr day at JBS before taking it out, then one after, on a different day (different month even).

There was a 7bhp "gain", but whether that was dyno lottery stuff who really knows. I'm sure it spools better and people have commented that "you can really hear the turbo" (but I can't tell any difference any more).

All this is in the first post in this thread... ;)

Original idea was on www.audiworld.com , don't forget the septics call it a "baffle"

I think you've missed the point slightly.

Pete and a few others were interested in polishing the existing pipe until I pointed out that it's not aluminium, it's plain old steel. My point was if you're wanting a polished one, then why not think about replacing the whole stock one with a custom one (or off the shelf one A&M do one) and also get the benefit of this mod at the same time. AND keeping the original to put back on at a later stage.

It also makes sense to swap, as taking the silencer out of the stok one is very involved.

If you just want to paint it, and/or take out the silencer, then fine do it.

P.S. I'm thinking about doing the silencer removal from the stock pipe on an exchange basis. Anyone interested?

Yes you could chrome, brushed chrome, or black chrome it. You could nickel plate it. You could flipping gold plate it if you wanted to :)think: mmmm, carbon wrap...). But then you wouldn't have a stock pipe to put back on, which a lot of people like to have.

It's up to you! Each to their own.

As for won't look as good as the original, that's got to be an opinion, surely? Again each to their own (and since A&M haven't made one yet (and I'm guessing they haven't, they might have done) we don't know what it will look like...)

Spare is £85, someone (cheers mate) got me a price on today, because he's thinking of getting someone (and I've offered) to remove the silencer for him.
