ok so anyone having any problems with their dv after running it a while?

mine chucked up a engine management light last week and as was due a service went in. They said that there was a pressure drop falut and exhaust supercharger air circulation valve fault code which i imagine both mean dv. Anyone give light as in how they have theirs set up? Dont want to take it off as sounds so so nice

All those running one also have you done the N249 bypass as this may note as to why not many having problems with the valve?

Thanks alot in advance for any help.

im not running the n249 bypass, touch wood mine seems ok.
im not sure if im having boost problems i may run my standard one to see if it makes any difference as majority of things are in your head if that makes sense.

Im running mine in full recirc now, my forge 007p was lifting even with a yellow spring!

Sounds far better than the forge just recircing.. I cant however run it without the blank in or i hit limp mode without fail:(

Weird. I've been running mine half twisted to soft (atmos) and had no problems with ECU warnings/limp mode :S

me 2 think mine is twisted in the middle of hard and soft. suppose it may depend on the boost pressure your running.

mine is remapped. i remember danapr225 said in his other post that he was running crazy psi boost.

jamjay, i think he means he is running the turbosmart fully circ as it comes with a blanking plate, the 007p yellow spring couldnt handle the pressure of his boost.

i put my blanking plate on this morning. it does feel more responsive. i may have to tweek it with the the horn on to get it better. i found with the horn on and quite soft the tssh sounded pants and not as high pitched. once i turned it half way it sounded loads better.

i put my horn back on and twisted it harder. boost a lot better and sounds awesome. sounds well at full throttle.
i also did the n249 bypass thing and it seems to have improved it.

Hey,

Yeah, imy forge was lifting under heavy boost, running quite aggressive settings, can only assume thats why!

have the turbosmart in fully recirc using blanking plate, still sounds silly loud though!:D

i heard more wastegate than dv on a fully recirc. put the horn on sounds wikid imo.
i dont think mines an agressive map tho. just when it was looser it was letting off too early.

Shouldnt hear the wastgate mate, will probs be the dump valve chattering, happens to mine when lightly letting off on slight boost. if you take the vac line off the dump valve and rev the car a little in neutral you will hear what wastegate chatter sounds like.

If i put my horn thing on and run it even at its tightest, it goes into limp.

Sounds good enough for me though now tbh! Im happy:)

sorry to drop in on your thread guys.
just fitted a gfb hybrid valve over the weekend was running fine for a few hours then could smell that it was overfueling it stalled on me once and tried to stall twice i have adjusted it and seems to be fine at the mo. but it seems like its using more fuel dont know if its cus im probally boosting quicker or if it is still slighty overfueling anyone had the same prob.

I've had mine for a while now but i have given up on it. I have had the same problems as DanAPR and i also have a coldside relocation kit, guessing this might be the problem. Might give it one more go on the weekend, if this fails then it might be on the for sale section.
Dan is yours running back in the original DV position on the TIP?
