Tyre Recommendations for 195/40/16

Hey all,

Im looking for a set of 195/40/16 tyres but cant decide as to what brands.

I would ideally like something with good grip in dry/wet and also a reasonable life in normal driving conditions.

anybody got any experiences with any tyres?

looking around the Mid range area so Falkens/TOyos/ Yokos.

Any help or advice is much appreciated.

Toyo T1-R's = Amazing in dry, crap in wet
Falken ZE452's = Amazing in dry, crap in wet (better then the Toyo's in wet though)
Falken ZE912's = Good in dry (not as good as 452's/Toyo's), good in the wet (loads better then toyo's and alot more then the 452's)


best all rounder = 912's IMO

Uniroyal Rainsport 2 my friend had them on his leon said they were very good in wet and dry conditions.

my local chappie fits/balances all four for 30 quid.

i think the fully fitted price from blackcircles was 70 quid each which still isnt bad i think.

i went to enquire from my local tyre place and cheapest he could get them was 80 quid, and get this 102 for Toyos.

yeah i know camskill had them for 221.96, but i was trying to call them all morning and they wouldn't answer so they lost my custom today! and according to the website they wouldn't get here till Friday.

Where as Blackcircles answered the first time i rang and confirmed they should be here tomorrow.
