Just a little update, I fitted a forge split-r valve during the week and fitted my hid's yesterday and I must say it's £47 well spent.
Had the plates on there a couple of weeks. Had some already without the euro logo on them until one decided to fall off so spent the extra pennies to get the euro logo ones.

so after I fitted the hid's earlier, i washed it and took some pics. Dunno why i bothered tho coz its filthy again now. I am NEVER having a black car again.

anyway heres the pics, comments welcome!

before (fitted with ULTRA white bulbs)...

thanks for the positive comments lads!

looks well smart, where did you get the HIDS from? are they easy to fit?

the hid's where off ebay, this is a link to the ones i had, came to about £47 delivered and took about 5 days for delivery...

they were dead easy to fit! if it wasn't for the battery in the way you wouldn't have to drop the bumper. all you do is drill a 1" diameter hole in the back off each headlight cap, put the bulbs in the lights and connect the 2 wires up, feed the wires through the inch hole and secure the grommet which is already around the wires and then connect up to the ballsats, easy as that. you have a fitting kit then to secure the ballsats somewhere in the engine bay. i used the industrial strength adhesive pads and stuck them to the side of the wing. With the drivers side its easier if you drop the bumper and take the light out, easy as that tho mate, took me about an hour and a half.

which ultra white bulbs did you have in before?

They were called ULTRA, they do projection lamps and that, i got them from www.rimstyle.co.uk

fair enough! I think that says the answer.

ALso, just quickly i guess you guys hav HIDs, the hole jam_cupra drilled in the headlight cap, does he mean the plastic back of the actual headlight unit, or a rubbery cap? Ive not looked in the headlight unit of the ibiza before, only on other cars, and its dark to go look outside now!

If its a rubbery cap, surely the wires cud be forced through rather than extra drilling?

Cheers

hell of a difference mate!

the cap in the back of the headlight that u take off to access the bulbs, u drill a hole in that. theres a rubber bung already around the wires to block it off. it has to be a 1" hole to fit the connectors through on the wiring harness. if u ever decided to take them out you can get grommets to block the hole.
