Updating the inbuilt Mib3 / Mib 4 Satnav Offline

For those who are interested:

Finally after a long long time, someone in SEAT/CUPRA had realized that it is a shame that an active web page on their site has been showing some unbelievably outdated information and decided to update it.

I thought they were doing it on purpose since they want you to take the contract out even for the regions that you can't . What you must realise is that it's a value product so you get a lower level of service even thou you might think you pay enough even on the Cupra side. Why we pick the downloads that are the most upto date between the brands that are interchangeable. Basically you can assume resources were switched away from the Seat / Cupra offering. At one stage it was ahead of the other brands.

Well you know how managers are that dont understand what they are managing.... we have all had one . Mainly accountants in my previous working carrier and planners that didn't do numbers (all touchy feely) or ex human resources people who made their own office curtains who addressed her staff as, are you with me or against me ?.

Some more have turned up on that thread, 2026.06 updates, RoW 2 days ago. Even more useful for those people without connect service on far off shores....

I changed the region part of the above link to TUR, navigated to the URL and it started to download the usual 21.1GB zip file.

I'm not keeping my hopes high for any changes, Here Maps have long ignored this part of the world.
But I'll keep updating anyway.

The RoW are fragmented into separate zones as per post #1 but the latest RoW are as above. You can derive the file link for the RoW ones contained above not shown by trying your luck with the country code as @serdar_18fr did with success.

Successfully updated to 26.6.
The indicator light of the USB external disk kept flashing for 7-8 minutes max, with some idle time in between, but I waited for a good 20 minutes before I restarted the infotainment and unplugged the disk thinking it might be doing something in the background.
