as title says im going to be doing the g60 fly wheel and vr6 conversion soon just wondering if there is any tips or handy pointers as im going to be doing it my self!!!

only thing im thinking is do you have to take gear box right out or just move it abit out the way..

hi mate, i need to put a new clutch in my car, and was goin to uprate at the same time. where did you get the g60 flywheel from? and is it just a standard mk3 golf 2.8 vr6 clutch?

people get the flywheel from ebay or find them on the vw forums. and they use a luk or sach clutch for the conversion but i have seen that euro car parts do a valeo kit witch has a flywheel clutch kit set for just over 200..
There are looooooooooooooooads of threads with part numbers on the vr6/g60 combo... alll you need to do is search!
will this item fit off ebay good price as well i think he says it is 220mm kit and we need the 240mm is this correct ???150349230262

is this valeo kit everything i need? is it a vr6 kit or a g60 kit. also will i need to change my starter motor. i did a search but couldnt find anything. feel free to post me a link, still a noobie so not brilliant at finding everthing, sorry..
i think so mate they do 2 makes valeo and transmech but valeo is oe spec kit so would pay the extra..

wil this valeo clutch kit be ok for the power im running as i reallyh dont want a sporty clutch and feel really harsh and i dont want much vibration!!
im after a new clutch for mine not sure if a vr6/G60 combo will be ok for the power your running m8 i have the same turbo and wanted 2 fit the same clutch but not sure if it'll hold the power (someone correct me if im wrong) as all the other clutch's ive looked at that are rated to 300bhp plus which you probably are are around £500+
Got a spec stage 3+ clutch waiting to go one mine. Ment to be VERY good clutches and can take alot of power! Not cheap though....worth looking into though
Im quite pleased with my spec3+ with G60 Fly, does need aprox 500 rpm more then standard when pulling of from start but you easilly get used to it. Did stall my engine a couple of times the first day I to her for a spin thou
Im not running big (k03s) figures but didnt want to end up changing again if I go BT at a later occasion and I dont feel its a overkill on my setup.Prebs
