Vacuum / boost hoses

I'm at the stage where several of the hoses are beginning to perish / split.
I need to know if anyone does a replacement kit or is it just a case of buying a load of silicon hose and cutting it as required.

Want to get this sorted before I go for a remap or it'll just cause problems.
Are there any hoses that I should know about that arent in a visible place?

Id say replace them anyway split or not there gunna be 5ish years old at least, for a tenner it could save you abit of trouble in time to come

I used an ebay company cant remember which one, i got 5meters of 3mm internal diameter red silicone hose and replaced them all, you dont need and clips or cable ties using 3mm as its tight enough. Looks better too.

So is that 3mm talking about the thickness of the 'wall' you might say? And what about the size of the hose opening itself? And are these sizes the same for cordoba cupra 20vt 2002 model? I suppose so as its same engine right?

3mm is the inside diameter of the hose

I am sorry but as English is not my first language I still do not understand that...if you have the hose is 3mm the opening of the hose, or the thickness of the walls (i don't know how better to explain that)

Should expect to pay around £10 for 3metres.

And the wall thickness of the pipe varies depending on where you get your pipe from but id say an average size is 2mm

How do you fit the hoses over the parts? Isn't it extremely difficult as it is such a tight fit?

They just pop on very easily mate
