before getting my car remapped i logged a run with vag com on block 20 - measuring section. I logs the RPM and Torque in NM.

Before mapping it read - 366nm @1911rpm

Now After Mapping it reads - 380nm @ 2016rpm

doesnt seem that much of a jump since it has been remapped and was expectiting to be hittin just about 400nm.

Does this sound about right? or am i just paranoid. Car is deffo faster and more of a pull in 2nd 3rd and 4th.

please advise

id suggest the first reading was wrong, and it was more likely 266nm.

no i was was first owner... 07 plate recieved it march 1st. i did 2 runs standard and it sayd 357 and then 366 standard. just didnt seem much higher for a remap. how accurate it vag com for this

Do you have a green panel filter. I have found out through rooling road and vag com and this seems to add around 30nm of torque. Allthough I doubt this it does seem to be the case.

From what I understand - you shouldn't pay too much attention to the torque readings from the ECU :)

The only proper measure is by using a rolling road dyno.

ah so basically the vag com reading after remap is pointless.... that sums it up so really it will be giving more out... no all is standard appart from remap

cheers ppl :)
