Recently bought this car, really like it but it's been a bit of a challenge!
Can anyone help with my VAG DPF figures, or lack of? I don't think it has regenned in the 3 weeks I've had it, think I have met all the requirements for it to do so am stumped at the moment
Cheers

What makes you think it hasn't regen'd? The app reckons it did it 25 min / 4 miles ago. Although the %soot is still quite high. But they become less effective over time and they become clogged up with burnt ash.

From what I recall of that app, it tells you when the regen is actually happening. Do you have it running all the time? It was about every 300 miles for me.

You can usually force a regen by getting it to 3500 rpm at 70 and leaving it there for about 20 mins, clear motorway required though.

It's supposedly regenned about 10 or so times since and every time it has a 0 min duration, so I get the impression it's trying to but not succeeding
There's a few 0s on the app so I was wondering if a sensor is out

If I recall I thought 100k was considered life for a dpf. So it might be that it can't clear anymore. If the % soot does nothing but climb.
