Thanks! here are some mods of what I enabled on my car:

Automatic windows when opening your doors. You know when you take the key of the ignition, your window is going up and someone, opens a door...normally, this will stop the window and you would need to either turn the key again or close the window with the remote. With this mod, the window will fully close even if you open a door with the key off the ignition.

- 09 - Cental Electrics
- Security Access - 16
- Enter access code 31347
- Adaptation - 10
- Choose (13)-Zugangskontrolle 2-Freigabenachlauf FH bei Tueroeffnen abbrechen auswählen
- Set value to inactive (the default option is Active)

Enable Carbon Fiber background on the FIS display:

- Select 17 - Instruments
- Adaptation - 10
- Select Displaydarstellung
- Change "Version 2" (default option is Version 1)

How odd. I wonder if there has been an update since then that addresses it? Apparently there was a new beta released last week, but you have to change a setting in the software in order for it to download.

See the other thread mate, VCDS was all in Germany when connected to the car. Never had it on any other car before.

Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

Did you look further down the list of options ?

Just had a look around mine and on many of the options the german comes up first - if you scroll further down the options are repeated but in English.

Just borrowed a mates genuine VCDS lead and changed a few items, items like "mirror dipping in reverse" and "alarm chirp" I activated but didn't work.

After a bit of head scratching, I discovered that new menus had been added in the CAR MENU on the infotainment system, once these were ticked all the added items are working a treat.

As this is not mentioned in the OPs excellent guide, I thought I might just mention it here.

Found a new one.

Display Engine profile mode on the instrument cluster MFD.

19 - Can Gateway
07 - Coding
Long encoding
Byte 8
Bit 4 - Display for drive Program functions in instrument cluster active. tick to enable.

When changing the mode, Sport/Normal/Eco or Cupra if you have one? The new mode will be briefly displayed on the dash display when changing mode.

I also found that it displays the mode when switching on the ignition which is actually more useful to remind you what mode it was left in.

Video clip of display

Also found another one which proves someone has a sense of humour.

"Seat ejection system installed"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So I just tried this one and it works, however, on my cupra it seems to get the Individual and Cupra modes mixed up showing Cupra when I select Individual and vice versa
