It looks the same as yours in the pic :)

Nah my insurance didnt change, quinn say you only have to declare performance enhancing mods which is a good plus point :)

Result! I'm with Quinn ;) In which case i might start going into a bit of more serious modding! I'd still ring 'em and tell 'em just incase though init?

Never knew that though!

Your car is coming along very well. Loving the interior.
you should get your handbrake sorted out as you dont want it rolling down a hill

that blue is a very nice blue chris

I was with Quinn on my first car, I only had a W Reg Punto and it was good as a provisional driver but after I passed my test it went up by £200 and then after the first year It went UP by another £300 and I asked them why and they said because your now 18 your more likely to crash than when you were 17
So I am no longer with them

Thanks Mobo, i prefer it in the summer nights as the sun drops because it looks darker :cartman:

@Veyron, as Mobo said, get it tightened. In my work carpark we park on a minor slope, yet i always leave my car ingear. One night i come out and my mate come across to say bye, i started the engine and depressed the clutch, the car was rolling forward even though the handbrake was full on!

So i always leave it in gear now and have a tightened handbrake! Even though its tighter i had a hairy moment in a multi storey carpark the other day, on the ramp. Mum and Sister in the car, handbrake on come of brake, started rolling but then it stopped!

Brown pants moment for the guy behind me!

it does look very good in the night.
the only problem with the colour is when you see another that colour you realise what your car looks like. but that rarely happens

Thing is, there was a bloke 30 second drive away who had exactly the same car as me 1.2s in the same colour! Until one day i came past and it looked like it had been in a crusher. Poor bloke he got hit from both sides i think.

Then i was up at Ashridge Estate, taking a walk with my missus, when i saw a 1.4s in the same colour so i parked next to it and got a pic, then as i literally went to leave a MK1 Leon in the SAME colour parked next to me, and the women had a look on the face of 'what's he looking at?' Clearly didn't understand how confused i was to see cars the same colour as mine.

But you are right, very rare, thats only 3 cars (ish) in the year and a half i've had mine.

[Kinda jacking Veyron's thread, sorry mate :cartman:]

@ Veyron, that looks like a tasty mod, where you getting it painted? And How much if you don't mind me asking? Just gathering some research if you know what i mean, seriously contemplating the FL front bumper !

What's after the bumper man?:)

There's one in your colour just around the corner from me, as well as a five door volcano red one with steelies like Stezo's!

Thanks mate and the bumper was £125 off ebay and been quoted £120 to paint it, but will try and get it down to £100 :)

Then i think i might get it lowered or an exhaust tip to fill the gap in the bumper, and get my fogs wired up :D

Wow first time i've seen the seats fitted Jake, they look amazing, so much nicer than the originals. I had my heart set on those leather ones but the guy didn't tell me what model they were from. I really need some of these now, they look so much nicer than mine :p

Did you sort out the broken handle btw?

Thanks mate, i wished you would have had them , felt bad after you posted the link. The handle is stitched over i think so would have to rip the bfabric off which i don't think is worth it tbh! The seat can still be tilted though by a small metal piece thats inside the hole where the handle should be! Will try and get a pic to show what i mean.

Did you bid on the Facelift FR's? They went for £102 i think?

Niceee! I think lowering should be the way to go first ;) get the stance right, although i do kinda like mine looking like a tractor :ban:

Eitherway mate, car look banging, have the vRS spiders affected the speed of the mighty three-pot much?
