Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta Tyres

I ended up ordering a pair of Goodyear Eagle F1's after seeing good reviews all round.

I have them in 19" versions on the Scirocco,never had any problems with them.great in the dry and just as good in the wet.Seem to be wearing well too put them on last year and have done about 6k miles,still seems at least half tread left!

Only around £75 a tyre, But just wondered what they are like on the Leon?

There is no best tyre, they are all different and what suits one.

I'd have the Verd. over the Uni, but I prefer a more sport orientated tire..

How many miles are the uniroyals lasting on a Leon? Much cheaper than buying a set of Goodyear eagle 2 at the moment on a 17" for me.

I don't think the wear is that good on the uniroyals is general Jay!

Ta might be more economical staying with the goodyears. Down to 5mm after 14000 could be worse I suppose.

Original Pirelli p zero rossos had 20k and had 2-3 mm left.

I cant really give an honest review of wear as i have a heavy foot, 360bhp and its my daily drive.
im on my second set in 10k.

i suppose the wear could be better. going try the Vredestein Ultrac Vorti next.

I'm still running on the Vredestein fronts cant really fault them at all!

I had them on my FR and would recommend them, been using them for the past 4 years and have been really good, also give pretty decent traction in the snow with the tread pattern on them.

Not long before I parted with my FR I had 2nVredstien Vorti fitted, tbh they were ok but not as good as the sessanta.

Can't wait for the Potenza's to wear out on my current leon as they are utter w*nk
