warning light on LCR

Hi, just went out for a little blast in my LCR and when cornering relatively hard I suddenly got a beeping sound along with a red light on the dash (!) it then disappeared, so I tried cornering (fairly hard ) again and the same happened again.

have I broken something or was my car really telling me to slow down?

I'd be concerned that's your oil light. Low oil pressure on cornering? Perhaps low oil level. Needs investigating.

oh, better check the levels. I guess thats all it could be then if its just when cornering hard?

from what you said I'd be inclined to say low oil level too, it could all be sloshing to one side when cornering hard so the pick up cant....well... pick it up

5w 40 Fully Synth I believe. Dealers use Quantum syntha gold but you cant buy this I don't think unless you go to a dealer. Millers seems to be quite popular.

Also check you brake fluid level, had low fluid activate a warning when cornering hard on a previous car.
