Was in the Watford area on saturday and came across a red cupra, was plate, 05 ABT but didn't catch the first two letters.

Don't know if you subscribe here but...

...get your car looked at mate.

When we started to 'compare' cars, loads of smoke when your foot is flat down. Very, very noticeable.

After I passed you I pulled into a petrol station, you bibbed and flashed. Front of my car, which I had just washed and polished, was covered in little spots of oil.

What colour was the smoke, if it was thick and black its a diesel!

Took mine out yesterday, first time in a week and once warmed up it was a tad smokey... :D

did you catch the number plate, could have been my old 1.8 FR, Did it have side skirts.

Only reason i say is that when i sold that in 2005 it had 42k on the clock, so probably got nearer 70 k by now if its still alive

Also thinking about this, you sure it was'nt DERV, as Diesels can blue smoke too, my brothers Reno is doing it just recently.
