Just read this from the start, very clean and tidy example, well done :)

I'd spend some time making that engine bay gleam now - and defo get a TIP sorted :D

I think I'm going to go for one of those rear braces too, did that attach to existing holes or did you drill into the strut?
 
Tanks Robbie C, i am deffinatly going to buy a TIP next, might even get my dad to buy me one for an xmas present. Engine bay i am working on,what's best stuff to you to clean it up?

I bought that rear strut brace from HOOCH and used the existing holes.
 
Cool :) When I was trying to clean the wax oil from my chassis legs I used a combination of brake cleaner, engine degreaser and AutoGlym Intensive Tar Remover which I found worked well for stubborn dirt.

For silicone I hear people simply use hot soapy water and you can dress them with WD40, although this makes them more prone to attracting dust afterwards. Some people also use Meguiars tyre gel which is meant to give a nice gloss finish to black hoses.
