Just a few pics to compare my new, shiny Weitecs against the old, original Seat suspension.
The pics will also show why the suspension needed changing in the first place.
Both front and rear dampers stayed in the down position when pushed down by hand (took very little force either).
The last pic of the rear tyre shows a bit of a scalloped inside edge. There were a few of these flats around both rear tyres. That would be the droning noise I kept hearing then and not wheel bearings (which I replaced)
Car back from the garage this afternoon, with 2 new tyres and front geometry reset.
Drives as straight as an arrow (unless I'm throwing it into some corners) and quieter too with the new tyres.
Isn't that supposed to come back up???? Front
It's going to be how much lower????
That looks right at home in there.
Isn't that supposed to come back up???? Rear this time
I'll just borrow a few bits from you. They look better on me anyway
Job finished
My hexagonal tyre
