What colour code are the LCR Alloy's??

Just having my rims refurbed and wondering who to use in Leicester that can fit the tyres without damaging my freshly refurbed rims? Dont mind paying but dont want the wheels to get damaged while getting tyres fitted/wheels getting balanced. Who should i take to? Share your thoughts.. Also wanting to know what colour code my LCR wheels are if anybody knows.

a friend of a friend works at national tyre and exhausts, think he is quite good. my boss only takes his alpina to him, could get his number if u want?

ill try and get it for you mate, i know my boss was the same with his - something about the tyres need to be put on differently on alpina rims otherwise its impossible not to damage them!

Jeff Fowkes at Ibstock are good, use them for my tyres and never a mark on the rims. You can also view the workshop from waiting room to see whats going on.

Rather than create another thread wondering what colour code these are? Or colour code as close to them as poss, need to know this urgently so i can get my wheels painted and get car rolling. Anyone able to help?

Sounds stupid but manufacturers don't always give the rims codes. Its a pain in the ass when to paint them. I will have a look tomorrow at work if your still after it?

Yes please, iv already tried SEAT dealers etc but they dont have any paint codes.

There is no official paint code. I don't think anyone has managed to get it. It's down to 'by eye' if being refurbed. Guy I used got one wheel pretty spot on but said it was a pain to get perfect.

If i cant get paint code then il have to visit paint shop to match the rim paint against paint chips and go from there.

I tried to discover if there were any touch-up kits for the wheels from Seat, as I've got a little scrape on one of my wheels. As far as I could find out, Seat never issued either touch-up kits or colour codes for the wheels. If I had to guess, I'd say that the wheels arrived already painted from the manufacturer
