Managed to successfully change the EGT sensor on Saturday. Also got the summer wheels washed and back on the car. On Sunday took to for a good hoon, then home for a wash :)

Stripped, cleaned and copper-greased all the brake calipers and sliders and hubs & bled the brakes. Waxoyled various rusty bits of suspension. Messy, messy job made worse by spilling a beer glass full of brake fluid all over the drive which is proving to be a bitch to shift:censored: Any suggestions chaps??

Next job is to replace a door locking module, which I'm not looking forward to

Today I got the windows tinted limo black, steering wheel wrapped in camo, centre console got some better carbon fibre vinyl and headlights got tinted :)

Hope for your sake you don't stack it and need to rely on the airbag mate, that vinyl must affect how it fires and bursts through the cover....

Its actually cut away from where the airbag would pop out so would come out just as easy :) I did take it into consideration before I done it

I don't think you've cut it in the right place then, the larger centre circle outside the badge hinges up and back when the bag goes off. It also splits the cover at either side.

Not trying to be a ****, just letting you know ;)

Minor bits really, the cap over the rear wiper washer was missing so fitted a new one and the passenger side headlight bulb was in the wrong way round so sorted that.

Did a VCDS log which told me what I suspected and threw up a mystery brake light switch issue when I was changed a few months ago. Also vacuumed inside and washed the outside. It'll be filthy again by this time tomorrow. Sigh. My next car definitely won't be black!

Ive purchased 2 new rear hub bearings, new disc screws and some paint for my rear calipers.
All in preperation for my big brake swap! :)

I hardly think a thin piece of sticky plastic will stop that ^

Never said it would stop it, but it might hinder the bag inflating to the correct position etc.

And its not just folk you run into the back of, what about someone coming the other way who strays ito your lane..
