Breaking in rebuilt engine using the motoman method..feels wrong when you compare it to the advice given by ..the manufacturer..

Fitted discs and pads all round, front wheel bearing, front lower arm rear bushes, 4 wheel alignment and fitted more led number plate bulbs and my HIDs. Drives like a dream now

Managed to get hold of a code reader to check my car which has done 114,000 miles, I bought it a few weeks ago and have done a 1,000 miles since then and have had the timing belt, water pump, oil and filter and spark plug change and a new venting system pipe which had broken.

I am very happy as all seems good with no faults found or stored, yeaaaaah.

Gave it a wash with the jet wash , then the traction control light came on (great) lol and polish :)

I love them as well, I shot some new pics today (with my dslr)

Finally got round to re-sealing my ebay oil catch can! It's located in place of the old relay box on the bulkhead, I noticed I had a water drip whenever I parked up and that there was some gunky deposit under the catch can. All fitted back up and doing it's job properly, no more silly boost spikes for me :D

Fired this into the boot and will do door seals soon.

Is that one of those things that meant to absorb water and prevent condensation? Is it worth the £? With all the water in mine completely fogged windscreen and back windscreen is getting more and more regular with the weather turning.

Got even more upset when a tool in a type r passed me with relative ease, clutch is on it's way out and I daren't boot it :(

Despite having a dead MAF and running slightly rich, still managed over 400 miles from the last tank :D

Now needs a service and a recheck of the (already butyl'd) door seals, was a bit fogged up this morning again...

Should just weigh it in and be done with it!! ;)

got wheels alignment all done and the car now points in a straight line:) replaced both bushes on wishbones and the drivers side ball joint(passenger did last yr.got the alignment done at BMTR on the Walsall road Perry Barr not far from the one stop £65
