MOT passed today with no advisories
very happy with that, nearly 22 years old and still going strong.
Yeah, i have to say I agree with manic172, It really winds me up when u see people ask who does the cheapest budget tire or part worn tires, ive had friends and family put these on its mind blowingthat people will risk their lives for a small saving, no good if your dead though. 3 places to never really go budget is tires, brakes and suspension. I know these parts aren't cheap but obviously that reason is to keep us all safe
Agree 100%. Have had a few occasions where either people have pulled out in front of me or animals have run across the road, and only stopped with a few inches to spare. If i'd had cheap tyres on I probably would have ended up writing the car off or killing someones cat etc.Yeah, i have to say I agree with manic172, It really winds me up when u see people ask who does the cheapest budget tire or part worn tires, ive had friends and family put these on its mind blowing ? that people will risk their lives for a small saving, no good if your dead though. 3 places to never really go budget is tires, brakes and suspension. Always makes me laugh when people buy the cheap and cheerful brake discs that warp instantly when you first put brakes on, and buying cheap tyres and ive seen some classic names like "Stunner tyres" lolYeah, i have to say I agree with manic172, It really winds me up when u see people ask who does the cheapest budget tire or part worn tires, ive had friends and family put these on its mind blowing ? that people will risk their lives for a small saving, no good if your dead though. 3 places to never really go budget is tires, brakes and suspension. It all Depends if that cat has just crapped on your garden, that's the Deciding factor just like in gladiator rome with thumbs up or down.Agree 100%. Have had the misfortune to drive work cars/vans with budget tyres on, some of them are utterly terrifying in the wet. You'll take 50 corners without issue, and then one day they'll suddenly massively under or oversteer for no reason. The 'Triangle' brand was especially bad for it, I used to call them the Triangle of terror! The compound was more like plastic than rubber, and how tf they ever passed certification is beyond me.

I hope this does the job. My driving test is in 8 weeks and I'm trying to get it ready
Does that shoots tennis balls?View attachment 47456just will leave this here...... ??

not wrong there at least in the 90s and you don't here allot of stick given to Liverpool were it was rampant at the time lolIt should be fine - the locking wheel nuts aren't like keys and they're not individual to the car - they just tend to be used across a particular marque.
If it doesn't work, there are sockets that tyre places use sometimes that mould to the shape of the bolt. I think they're one time use.
In truth, I've been considering getting rid of mine, given the hassle sometimes of getting the thing out of the boot, that and the fact that everyone's got alloys now and I haven't seen a car on bricks for forty years...

Looking good. Bet you can’t wait to get out on the road.Gave it a good clean today, after the new shoes git fitted. Ready for its mot on Friday ?
No I can't. Hopefully on the 16th may. I've been checking insurance quotes. Since I first got the car, it was about £197 per month. It's now coming in at £97. Had 3 people come over saying how nice the car is, only about 5 people walked pastLooking good. Bet you can’t wait to get out on the road.
