just make sure that plastic wing sits on properly and does not get pushed off when you put the rubber bit back, i did that to mine but only found out when i had a swimming pool in the passenger footwell [:@]

This is something iv probably just do t given my lack of know how! Will keep an eye on the passenger footwell!

*Apologies for the essay*

Essay indeed!

A very good guide for people wanting to do it right though! Think I'll wait for the warmer weather until I do that, for now I'm just gonna re-seal the doors and try and stop any leaks as they appear. Awesome write up though and will keep it handy for when it comes to doin mine ;)

Just glad its going to help someone out at some point, I don't think I missed anything that you couldn't figure out.

I'll be doing the reverse over the next couple of evenings, all that rain over the last few days and not a drop in the car :funk: Happy days!

You won't be disappointed once fitted mate,I'd never go back to standard filament bulbs after having HID's.:)

Yeah hopefully mate! Ive got some Xenon stlye ones at the min but they are awful!! and they have blue 501s, makes it look chavy haha. Ordered some nice White LED sidelights in their place ;)

Have you got a link for the ones you ordered there are so many different ones I wouldn't know which to choose. Some are 6k h7. And some are 6k h7r dunno what the difference is.

HID bulbs been covered sooo much before.H7 bulbs are for "projector" type headlights.H7R bulbs are for "reflector" type headlights like what we've got in our Leon's.

Reflector headlights are the ones the the usual chrome around the headlight although the LCR's headlight internals are black.

Reflector headlights should use H7R bulbs, the incorporate a little reflector built into the bulb, that way you should have a proper beam pattern if checked on MOT.

H7 bulbs don't have the reflector, leaving you without a beam pattern, probably see/hear people saying they dazzle other road users with H7's

A total organic carbon analyzer (also referred to as TOC analyzers) measures the amount of total organic carbon present in a liquid or water sample. TOC detection is important because of the effects that TOCs may have on health, not to mention the environmental effects and implications for the pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
