I've BINNED the quick release from the metal turbo outlet pipe:) I've driven it since, but as I only sleeved it with some old exhaust (for now) I don't want to boot it until I get the right bits... Or at least when I'm near work, it was bad enough doing the job once on my back in the rain! A ramp will be better!

Removed wheels gave them a good once over. Washed ,clayed, polished and waxed took all day mind .......but a good job done.

Not too bad...ill put it on my to do list for now though, tip, decat, stage one first, I think:) how long did it take to do? Is it a sub frame out job?

It took about 6 1/2 hours. I thought it was going to be as easy as a mk4 golf 1.8t.
The 6speed box is so much heavier and larger.
It can be done without moving the subframe but we couldn't seem to manage it so we
unbolted it and shoved it back a little.

Fair enough, I'll look forward to that lovely little job :O lol

I know Red are meant for diesel, but on doing a LOT of research on this,Yellow can cause lots of Vibration,so a lot of people use the Red diesel one's as same size/fitting,slightly softer silicone,so less vibs less movement & better traction than standard...Still considering upgrade, once i decide on best bushes.
