Random question not worth bothering making a new thread for. With remote central locking am I imagining that upon locking all the indictors flash or is that just unlock?

2 flashes for unlock one for lock on my '02 plate.

That's what I thought, mine has stopped flashing on locking and I could have sworn it did before. As for your alarm going off while driving doesn't make it look stolen what so ever lol

Well it only looked as if I had left my hazards on as there was no audible sound.

People talk about them all the time on here, doing all sorts of fault code checks and stuff. If I had a lap top I'd get one

I'm sure my old '98 Ibiza 2.0 16v Cupra Sport did this.

Yeah it's just a noise on and off the later cars can be altered somewhat or you can replace it for a 12V sounding horn/electronic box.
This lives under the wipers, the cars horn at the front of the car is not used for the alarm.
Lee, without a vagcom do you know if I could get my indicators to flash again when locking?

I had that on my Sierra XR 4x4 Cosworth and RS 2000 but that was was Clifford alarms.
My hazards were flashing today after getting into the car and driving off but no alarm sounded. I stopped and reset by turning ignition off and resetting with fob.

Ah yes I will try that to see if my lights will flash locking by resetting with the fob. Forgot about that. Car trouble shooting isn't so much my forte how ever I find android operating system easier to give advice on lol

No, I reset my alarm not the flashing light activation indicator.
PPS I also "found" a brand new Green Cotton air filter in the air box that had been removed.
I think I'll be selling it once I hit 15 posts as it is BRAND new.

No.
But vag com is £11 ish pm only and not me selling, everyone who owns a vag needs vag com
Pretty sure my friend who suggested he let me have the car for an MTM remap will have a Vag Com. (does it work on Android?)
