2 flashes for unlock one for lock on my '02 plate.

Alarm went off driving today with hazards flashing but no sound. I'll have to investigate.

That's what I thought, mine has stopped flashing on locking and I could have sworn it did before. As for your alarm going off while driving doesn't make it look stolen what so ever lol

I will do once I get my 15 posts without spamming the board and upsetting the nasty moderators!! :D

PS should my horn sound intermittently if factory alarm is activated??

I'm sure my old '98 Ibiza 2.0 16v Cupra Sport did this.

Yeah it's just a noise on and off the later cars can be altered somewhat or you can replace it for a 12V sounding horn/electronic box.
This lives under the wipers, the cars horn at the front of the car is not used for the alarm.

I don't mean an locking activation 'chirp'.

I had that on my Sierra XR 4x4 Cosworth and RS 2000 but that was was Clifford alarms.

My hazards were flashing today after getting into the car and driving off but no alarm sounded. I stopped and reset by turning ignition off and resetting with fob.

Ah yes I will try that to see if my lights will flash locking by resetting with the fob. Forgot about that. Car trouble shooting isn't so much my forte how ever I find android operating system easier to give advice on lol

No, I reset my alarm not the flashing light activation indicator.

PPS I also "found" a brand new Green Cotton air filter in the air box that had been removed.

I think I'll be selling it once I hit 15 posts as it is BRAND new.

You using AirDroid and SwiftKey then?

Good stroke of luck there, i got a pair of **** sun glasses and a euro-pop dance CD with mine lol As for android stuff, galaxy nexus 4.3 jwr66y, stock rom, franco kernel, Google keyboard, gravity box xposed framework module.

Edit

Nice set up under the hood there buddy, I don't understand what all the pipes do but look cool. How ever I can spot a cheeky cold air feed and induction kit ;)
