Fuming... forget that last post, back to driving a kangaroo :( so thats the n75 and maf replaced and still its hesitating.. what now :/ only thing i can think of is a boost leak but if I had a boost leak how would fitting a new maf and resetting ecu via battery d/c make it disappear for half an hour? Really doing my head in now

I had something similar on my MR2 and the cambelt was out by a tooth, don't think that would be your problem though tbh.

I don't have a petrol, but could it be a coilpack?

Oh where do i start lol!!

Fitted new MAF, changed oil and filter, Fitted 4 new NGK plugs and bought LCR Ronal wheels ready for fitting tom :)

Happy boy !! bit skint now tho lol

Put the standard radio and cd changer in it and getting pissed off that no one wants to buy it!!!!!!! Would of thought at £2950 it would have been snapped up!

Hmm yes fuel filter, I have noticed when shes nearly empty it runs really rough yet when I pull out of the petrol station with a full tank shes smooth as silk for a good few miles.. does this sound like a fuel filter problem?

Could be worth doing it just to see..they're not expensive and don't take much to change them.
Could also try some injector/fuel system cleaner.

Yeah got one earlier, read the how to guide on here as well. Just a shame about the weather, ill try some redex and also take the TB off and give it a clean.. will then need assistance from someone with vag-com to realign it as my cheap ass cable dont work

I feel your pain man, I was trying to sell a mk5 golf for £4500 a few weeks ago. In the end i got sick of trying and let it go on eBay for £3k. Seems no one can afford second hand cars these days over £500 unless it's financed.

Today, I fixed my leaky rear door. Stripped down, resealed, done in 45 minutes. Well chuffed.

Then I spotted my drivers front foot well sopping wet too. It wasn't like that 3 days ago! Might as well fix the other 3 now!

Put my bosch DV back on to see if it would cure my hesitation and premature dumping.. which it seemed to, but nooo it has come back, but my god does the car feel much more responsive without the 007p on... actually brought a smile to my face to drive it.. and that hasn't happened in a while!
