Just paid £60 to get the seats shampooed, roof liner, whole interior cleaned, exterior, polished, engine bay cleaned etc :p

Changed the oil and oil filter, the first time I have done it myself on the leon. I bought a new washer for the sump plug but it has one that's attached to it, so that was a waste of 24p lol

Fan fuse has blown again. Guess I'm doing the slow speed fan mod when I'm back from holiday.

Also getting a suspiciously familiar crunching sound from the drivers window mechanism so that'll probably be dying soon.

Been one of those months...

Further de-cluttering of the engine bay.

Ripped out the steel pipes that we're left over after the n249 bypass and SAI delete. Ran some 6mm fuel hose from the carbon canister hard line to the TIP but managed to snap a 90 degree plastic elbow join on the TIP. With no other tools available I used a pair of pliers (yeah..) to cut a piece of the aforementioned steel pipes and filed it down against the pavement to get rid of any sharp edges. Turned out to be much better than the elbow joint! +1 McGuyver point for me!

Found out my rear beam isnt right!

Fitted 25mm spacers but one wheel sticks out more than the other! (by about .250") Very annoying.

I think this is every mk4 platform car, the only way to make them sit the same either side is to put two different size spacers on. Mine is the same and quite noticeable when mentioned.
