Fitted a Cobra exhaust downpipe with sports cat, and Osram nightbreaker UL bulbs ready for winter. I had a Cobra res catback fitted last month, which was rubbing to begin with, then the downpipe started leaking so I replaced it with the Cobra (should have bought the full 3" system instead of 2 seperate 2.5" parts. Hindsight eh!). Sounds immense on boost, I can finally enjoy it. Shame about the crap weather

So today I got stuck in about my rear brakes upgrade - doing the 256 vented route - got one side done this afternoon so will get both done by 2moro

Failed MOT on front brake discs (and CV boot) :-(

Plus stuck new pads on the backs since it was there.

Passed MOT last week. My passenger side light was too high? Last year I passed MOT at the same station with same light setup, so that was a bit odd.

Also did a full service
-New 5W50 Kendall oil
-New Mann oil filter
-New Mann petrol filter
-New NGK sparks
-Cleaned Blox Air filter
-New interior filter

MOT is my service date, easy to remember

Thanks, it took me 4 long days! And the cost was more then 5 times cheaper to buy facelift bumper.

Started to look at making a double din out of a single din. Got the facia from seat but realised I need a mk4 golf double din adapter as I thought I had one in my collection of car parts from the different cars over the years.

Changed coolant temperature sensor to green cap. Fault code gone!

Finally sorted my permenantly lit speedo. Removed the speedo, stripped it down and re-soldered all the joints on the green and blue plug. Problem solved.

Bought it Thursday and this weekend did, plugs, green panel filter, pressed plates, fixed loose door lock

Got oil and filter to do then wait for new stereo, wipers, led sides and look for other bits to buy for it

Coming from a B5 S4 I thought I'd be disappointed... I absolutely love the LCR!!

My mk4 golf aero arms and blades arrived. Cleaned them up now to polish and seal the arms and fit later. Should be a nice conversion on the LCR
