Replaced my rattling aux belt tensioner with a nice shiny new one from Darkside! Had to he-man the crap out of the thing to remove the retaining pin and then it tried taking my fingers off when I let the tension go! Managed it in 20 minutes just as it was going dark though and now the car hardly rattles at all at idle :)

Found one of my horns fitted upside down and full of water. That would explain the crap muffled sound. Removed and dried and all is well.

Changed my number plate lights to LED's, they look awesome now compared to what they did although I was a little heavy handed when attempting to take the cover off

They seem to stay in place well though, so given the clips snapped they stay haha!

Had my airtec front mount fitted. Still retained the front fogs. Black hoses with black intercooler. Cant see it behind the bumper. Very stealthy.

Discovered a small lake in passenger footwell. No surprise with all the rain. Seems to be rear passenger door. Oh well, better get some butyl strip on order and dust off the de humidifier.

Have done the O2M shim in my gearbox, wow what a difference, feels like a new gearbox ! no more whine in 3rd or 5th, and clutch dipping gone too !, all for £10, and an hour of my own labour. I'm tempted to write to Seat about this, as for a simple cheap fix (that is installed on newer version of the gearbox I'm led to believe), should have been a recall !! to think a year or so ago I almost got the gearbox replaced with a recon for over £1000 ! what a massive saving ! :D

I was an unfortunate one, I had to get mine reconditioned last year due to bearings failing, and been tempted to do the O2M mod. But as always, struggle to find the time!

Just got my car back today after having two large dents repaired that occurred when I was parked up at work. No details left from the persons responsible, so decided to foot the bill rather than claim on the insurance, additionally had the wheels refurbished in shadow chrome. Total bill £740 ouch!
